OILS AND BUTTERS

We make our soaps using vegetable-based oils and butter in the traditional cold process method.

Our plant-derived base recipe contains olive oil, RSPO palm oil, coconut oil, shea butter, castor oil, kokum butter, cocoa butter, and avocado and/or sunflower oil. This recipe has been tested and used by our family, and it is gently cleansing with lots of lather and leaves your skin feeling fresh and clean, without being drying.

We don't use any parabens, sulfates, or phthalates.

Lye

All our soaps are made with pure food grade sodium hydroxide and/or potassium hydroxide.

FRAGRANCE AND COLORANTS

We have a full line of soaps made with phthalate-free skin safe fragrance oils, as well as a line of essential oil soaps.

We use skin-safe oxides and micas, as well as natural clays, activated charcoal, spices, and botanicals for creating our designs.

PRESERVATIVES AND THICKENING AGENTS

Now that I am making liquid soap, I had to introduce preservatives into my products. I searched for the safest possible option to protect your and your family. No one needs to be washing themselves with a soap that is full of bacteria. Yuck! The preservative that I chose protects your soap without the use of parabens and formaldehyde. Both the preservative and the thickening agent that I use in my liquid formula rate a 2-3 on the EWG website.
